Chief Accountant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and manage accounting, tax and customs functions.
• Manage overall financial and accounting activities of the business in Vietnam.
• Plan and execute accounting activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting to management, headquarters and local tax authorities.
• Handle tax-related matters, including annual audits and responses to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Manage and implement accounting systems, internal controls and financial practices.
• Manage and maintain a full set of manufacturing accounting records.
• Support the development and improvement of accounting systems and processes.
• Prepare and provide financial and accounting reports to management.
• Handle day-to-day finance and accounting activities.
• Ensure integrity and confidentiality of financial information.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and applicable regulations.
• Monitor financial and production data and identify potential anomalies or risks.
• Perform other finance and accounting projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of solid experience in manufacturing accounting/costing.
• Possession of a Chief Accountant Certificate.
• Strong experience managing a full set of manufacturing accounts.
• Experience in accounting system development and implementation.
• Experience with ERP systems is mandatory.
• Strong team management and supervisory skills.
• Experience working in a multinational or sizable organization is an advantage.
• Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to collect, organize and analyze financial/production data.
• Strong planning, coordination and execution capabilities.
• Mature, independent, well-organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to manage unexpected issues effectively.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
