Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (ICT)

About the role

The client is looking for a senior ICT professional with strong hands-on experience in ICT infrastructure and network design on large-scale construction projects. You will join a growing engineering business that is ramping up for a major airport project in Vietnam. The right person is a self-starter with real end-to-end ownership experience, who can turn client requirements into clear design direction with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assess network endpoint requirements from project designers and the client, confirming they are technically feasible and fit the project scope
• Attend and lead design requirement meetings, and communicate decisions clearly to internal and external parties
• Track field work progress and give the design team timely, accurate updates
• Guide and direct the network design team in line with project requirements and the overall schedule
• Support the delivery of design tasks to keep them on schedule
• Report on project progress and coordinate closely with the main contractor and other project branches
• Review completed designs against agreed requirements, and flag any errors or gaps to the design team
• Keep the design team informed about local regulations and compliance requirements
• Serve as the main coordination point between the client, designers and on-site execution teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of ICT/network design experience, including work in a coordination, team lead or design management role
• Strong hands-on experience designing ICT network infrastructure, especially passive systems (cabling, racks, patch panels, data distribution)
• Proven ability to review and audit technical drawings for accuracy and compliance
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders (clients, designers, contractors) on live construction or infrastructure projects
• Self-starter able to lead a design team with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of Vietnamese ICT and construction regulations, or the ability to learn and apply them quickly
• Clear, confident written and spoken English, comfortable working directly with the international head office and management team (based in Turkey)
• Willing and able to be based full-time on-site in Bac Ninh, Vietnam

Nice to have

• Working proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit, enough to review technical drawings independently
• Experience on airport, transport or other large-scale infrastructure projects
• Project management certification (PMP or equivalent)
• Experience working with or reporting to international engineering firms
• Familiarity with structured cabling standards such as BICSI
