Junior/Middle Java Developer (Internal HR System)

Our client is a state-of-the-art smart factory that will offer in-house capabilities for the entire development chain, from design to multiple System in Package and Memory technologies to test solutions that respond to the most demanding customer requirements. They are expanding their manufacturing footprint to Vietnam to support customer needs for an alternative supply chain solution for Advanced SiP and Memory as well as other packaging solutions in the future.

Job Description

1. Manage, maintain, and enhance HRM (Human Resource Management) applications and related systems.
2. Analyze business requirements and collaborate closely with HRGA stakeholders to design effective system solutions.
3. Develop, customize, test, and implement HRM application features and enhancements.
4. Perform database design, SQL query optimization, and data validation to ensure system performance and data integrity.
5. Investigate system issues, conduct root cause analysis, and perform hands-on troubleshooting.
6. Support system integration, reporting, interfaces, and data migration activities related to HR processes.
7. Prepare technical documentation and provide user support when required.
8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR business processes and system efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Must-have

• Experience in HRM application development and support
• Java: 1-3 years of experience in programming skills and experience in web application development.
• SQL: strong proficiency in query development, troubleshooting, data analysis, and performance optimization; knowledge of database design principles.
• Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Solid system troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with source control, testing, and deployment processes.
• Understanding of HR business processes and HRM workflows.
• Basic English or Korean.

Nice-to-have

• Hands-on experience with MS-SQL (stored procedures, views, performance tuning).
• Experience with JSP, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with HR modules such as Employee Information Management, Attendance, Payroll, Recruitment, or Performance Management.
