About the role

The client is hiring an experienced BIM/Revit operator with strong hands-on skills in BIM modelling and clash detection for engineering and construction projects. You will join a growing engineering business supporting a major airport infrastructure project in Vietnam. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, interpret design intent from AutoCAD drawings, and build a fully coordinated BIM model with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Convert 2D and 3D AutoCAD designs into accurate, coordinated BIM/Revit models
• Detect clashes within the ICT design (for example cable trays, racks and conduits) and against other disciplines such as structural, MEP and architectural
• Report identified clashes clearly and promptly to the relevant design and project teams
• Prepare and maintain material schedules and quantity take-offs extracted from the BIM model
• Work regularly with the on-site AutoCAD design team and the Design Director so the model always reflects the latest drawing revisions
• Manage BIM model versioning and make sure project modelling standards are followed
• Support the design team with regular progress updates and clash reports throughout the project

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture or a related field
• 3–5+ years of BIM/Revit experience, including solid clash detection and multi-discipline coordination
• Experience converting 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings into BIM models
• Ability to independently identify, document and report design clashes
• Experience producing material take-offs from BIM models
• Self-motivated, able to work effectively in a fully remote setting with minimal supervision
• Clear, confident written and spoken English, comfortable collaborating with an international project team across time zones

Nice to have

• Experience with Navisworks or other dedicated clash detection software
• Autodesk Certified Professional (Revit) or an equivalent BIM certification
• BIM experience on ICT/telecom or passive network infrastructure projects
• Understanding of BIM Execution Plans (BEP) or ISO 19650 coordination processes
• Experience on airports, transport or other large-scale infrastructure projects
