Production Line Manager

TalentsAll's client is a climbing-shoe brand originating from Europe with more than 100 years of history. With an aim to expand the production activity in Asian Area, the company is looking for some new positions in Vietnam

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and commissioning of a new shoe production line from scratch

• Define and establish production processes, workflow, and quality standards aligned with HQ expectations

• Act as the main coordination point between the European project lead (R&D) and the Vietnam factory

• Interpret technical requirements from head quarter into practical, scalable production solutions

• Manage and supervise daily production operations after setup phase

• Build, train, and lead a local production core team (up to 10 people in the first phase)

• Provide technical expertise in footwear manufacturing (materials, construction, performance aspects)

• Coordinate with local suppliers for materials and components to ensure quality and timeline

• Continuously optimize efficiency, quality, and production stability

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in footwear production, ideally with exposure to production line setup / NPI / industrialization

• Solid understanding of shoe manufacturing processes and materials

• Experience with technical or performance footwear is a strong advantage (climbing shoes is a plus)

• Proven ability to work in a cross-functional and cross-cultural environment

• Familiarity with the Vietnamese supplier / manufacturing ecosystem is preferred

• Fluent in English or German (able to work directly with European stakeholders)

• Willing to be based on-site near Bim Son for a long period of time
