Solution Project Engineer

Responsibility

• Support solution projects, including hardware setup, software deployment, testing, and configuration.
• Work closely with technical teams to identify project challenges and develop appropriate solutions.
• Frequently visit customer sites to provide technical support during pre-sales activities and assess application requirements.
• Recommend and modify hardware mounting, configurations, and settings to achieve the required data quality.
• Develop and modify algorithms and software to verify performance and meet customer requirements.
• Test customer-provided samples to evaluate whether the company's sensors are suitable for specific applications and prepare technical reports.
• Work directly with customers to understand their technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Develop software for testing, demonstrations, and product evaluation in accordance with R&D guidelines and in collaboration with the R&D team.
• Conduct product training and technical demonstrations for existing and potential customers, both onsite and at the company's premises.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts at the technical level.
• Record and regularly update customer support activities in the company's support ticketing system and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
• Develop strong knowledge of the company's sensor products, including their operation, characteristics, and performance.
• Provide continuous feedback to improve products, services, and overall customer experience.

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in the high-tech, factory automation, or industrial technology sector, preferably involving technical projects.
• Experience in customer-facing, technical support, application engineering, or equivalent is preferable
• Fluent in Chinese and proficient in English, particularly in reading and writing.
• Good understanding of relevant industry standards and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following tools/technologies:
  • Software: Visual Studio, C, C#, VB.NET, LabVIEW, or PLC programming.
  • Mechanical: SolidWorks.
  • Electronics: Wiring, hardware setup, and basic soldering.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues, develop test plans, and implement effective solutions.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Valid passport and willingness to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.
• Comfortable with frequent onsite work and customer visits.
