Project Manager

The company is a global technology firm headquartered in New York, USA. It specializes in designing and manufacturing wireless networking products for enterprise and home use. In Vietnam, the company operates primarily through outsourced manufacturing partners, with a strong presence in provinces like Bắc Ninh and Hải Phòng. Its product portfolio includes Wi-Fi access points, routers, switches, and surveillance systems under the UniFi and airMAX brands. While not widely visible under its own name locally, it plays a key role in global supply chains for networking equipment.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in New Product Introduction (NPI) and Program Management within the consumer electronics or networking product sectors. This role will be responsible for driving cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, covering the full product lifecycle from concept through mass production.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project & Program Management

• Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery for NPI projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.

• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to timelines.

• Oversee the entire product development lifecycle including EVT, DVT, PVT, and ramp to Mass Production (MP).

2. Cross-Functional Leadership

• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams to ensure build readiness and smooth project execution.

• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

• Proactively identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve issues to keep projects on track.

3. Manufacturing & Operational Excellence

• Monitor and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy and control throughout the product lifecycle.

• Ensure factory readiness for builds, from pilot to MP, and support yield improvement activities.

• Oversee Engineering Change Notice (ECN) processes to ensure timely implementation and minimal disruption to production.

4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Track project KPIs, quality metrics, and cost performance, providing regular status reports to management and stakeholders.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within NPI processes and project execution.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in NPI or Program Management roles within the consumer electronics or networking product industries.

• Technical Knowledge:

• Solid understanding of new product development processes, from design validation through mass production.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, BOM management, ECN handling, and yield improvement techniques.

• Skills:

• Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proactive problem-solving and risk mitigation mindset.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

• Languages: Proficient in English and Chinese (both written and verbal).
